What Is the Deal with Auditions?
Auditions for BLACKWATER BALLAD by Joseph Zettlemaier and Brian Lillie and PHANTOM by Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit will be held JUNE 14th and 15th from 6-10pm with Callbacks on JUNE 16th from 6-9pm. Actors auditioning may be asked to stay from a dance call the night they audition. Both Equity and Non-Equity actors may audition. Also, we are once again offering our Summer Musical Theatre Intensive Workshop in conjunction with PHANTOM. Students (ages 14-22) who are accepted in the Workshop are automatically in the cast for PHANTOM and work along side local professional talent as well as professionals from New York and Broadway. Only ONE audition is required for the entire summer season.

Audition Basics
You will be required to fill out an audition form upon arrival, and will be escorted one at a time into the theatre to sing onstage. We will let you know immediately if you are asked to stay for the dance audition.
When you sing, choose a point on the back of the theatre on which to focus, and sing to that spot – as if that spot is the eyes of the person to whom you’re singing. DO NOT sing to the auditors.
